Learn to meditate:
From beginner to experienced. Explore these 3 apps to find what you love. I never thought I’d try meditation and 5-6 years ago I tried for 5 minutes a day for 5 days and it changed my life! The tightness in my chest… gone… and a daily natural high. I did it this morning at 5am and helped me fall back to sleep and calm my mind. It you’re now saying your mind is too busy for meditation, I am still exactly the same and that is exactly the reason why.

OneWave bi-weekly mental and surfing Zoom chats:
OneWave is a non-profit surf community raising awareness of mental health through a simple recipe…saltwater therapy, surfing and fluro. This past 2 weeks, instead of meeting up for Fluro Friday every Friday morning at over 200 beaches worldwide, the team have taken to meeting online twice for week for global get togethers and Zoom calls to share our collective experiences and how we’re all getting through COVID19 in isolation. Big wins and all welcome!
- Free The Funk Wednesday Zoom calls: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJUsd–vpjgiB780__VnNLQdqzShay_S_g
- Fluro Friday Zoom calls: https://zoom.us/j/826019930
I have been chatting with my parents and sister this week about us collectively finding things that make us laugh, make us happy and keep us occupied this this strange time. We shared ours with each other and I’ve been sharing meditation links and other resources with peeps on the One Wave (a surfing and mental health community) Zoom calls this past week or so, so I figured that I should actually put them all in one place for my friends and people in my world to discover and utilise at will.
I have zero desire to be another one of those generic, self-appointed Instagram “life coaches” or influencers that have popped up in this past week, however I do have an audience and I want to be able to help the people in my world through this challenging time for all of us if I can, if that makes sense?
If you’ve got more sections that I think you should add to this, then hit me up with your ideas! Happy weekend y’all!

When life throws you lemons, you make a lemon tart.
Nigella Lawson has been tantalising our taste buds for years. Single-handedly bringing sexy back into the kitchen with her smooth rich English accent, voluptuous physique and addiction to alliteration. Women want to be her and men want to be with her. Her life has been filled with the bitter and the sweet.
This week we feature hilarious comedy and cabaret performer Raelene Isbester and her show Nigella Loves Bites on the Hot & Delicious: Rocks The Planet! weekly entrepreneurship podcast ahead of her shows in Sydney this weekend as part of Bondi Feast and Bondi Winter Magic!
Rae and I explore the sugar highs and front page lows of Nigella’s career that are the plot of the show and after successful sellout seasons at Perth Fringe World, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Fringe and a stand out Christmas Special, Nigella – Love Bites is on its way to the iconic Bondi Pavillon for three deliciously decadent evenings during Bondi Feast!
I can’t WAIT to see it again this weekend! Let’s get into the podcast!

New Music Podcast: BATTS ‘The Grand Tour’ NASA debut album launch.
Excited to welcome back my friend and Melbourne singer-songwriter BATTS on the Hot & Delicious: Rocks The Planet! weekly entrepreneurship podcast for the 4th time, as she prepares to hit the road for her east coast of Australia for the launch of her much anticipated and highly-imaginative debut concept album called ‘The Grand Tour’.
NASA’s launch of the twin Voyager 1 and 2 spacecrafts in 1977, which inspired The Grand Tour album, sent a shock of radio and plasma wave signals back in 2012 from Voyager 1 as it crossed into Interstellar Space and on today’s show we chat about what inspired BATTS to reach out to NASA in the creation of this beautiful album.
Voyager 1 and 2 are currently exploring where nothing from Earth has flown before and are each are much farther away from Earth and the sun than Pluto. Like life imitating art, we dive in what keeps driving BATTS into the unknown for her upcoming tours of Australia and the UK, as a solo indie artist, musician and businesswoman.
Super fun chats and what a rad lady! Let’s get into it!

Can Snapchat he/she be over already? 🤦♂️🐏🐑🐑😴💤 Inspire Me With Amazing Creative Content!
Be gone poorly executed Lame of Thrones activations, Murad Osmann copycats, living my best life posts, #yolo, douchebags capturing “pensive” staged images of themselves for Instagram facing breathtaking back-drop landscapes, clickbait, duckface, content with overly branded text lock-ups and logos… 🔥 🔥 🔥 Throw all of it into the bin please and send me something that’s real, creative, interesting & inspirational! ✨
It is about time that we as marketers and creatives (myself included) drive clients to break the mould and lead the way instead of following the crowd and re-hashing the same tired old brand concepts, executions and activations.
We must strive to generate short and long-form content that actually adds value to people’s lives. Even on our personal channels. Just because you can post a grainy pub lunch schnitzel or gym mirror selfie online, it doesn’t mean that you should. We’ve got to be more sophisticated!
Ask yourself. What’s the coolest idea that I have created or executed of late? Am I proud of what I am/we are publishing online?
I’d love to hear from you and for you to share with me with links on this LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram thread! What is the most inspiring personal or brand creative that you’ve seen or executed yourself, that’s blown your mind of late? Inspire Me With Amazing Creative Content!
