If you pick up the arts and entertainment section of any newspaper you’re likely to see in the best seller list AT LEAST one book on success, achieving work-life balance and consciously owning your time. Whether it’s new titles like “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” by Mark Manson or “The 4 Hour Workweek” by Timothy Ferris, it seems that people more than ever are openly on the quest to achieve ‘work-life balance’.
But is it even possible to achieve? What with the mountain of books, podcasts, classes and Netflix specials on ‘work-life balance’ it can sometimes feel like an elusive concept made only for bloggers, entrepreneurs and coaches who coach people on creating work-life balance. Needless to say, I understand how it can seem elusive particularly if your career doesn’t fit any of these moulds.
But what if we changed the angle?
On today’s podcast I discuss my philosophy of Life Work Balance and how it’s possible to be working full-time and creating your own projects while also ensuring you make time for you. I take you back to where I first implemented this concept and let you in on some of my tips, tricks and how-to’s to integrate Life Work Balance into your schedule right now.

Coffee: ★★★★☆ (4.5 stars)
Bam! Shook off last night’s craft beers with a delicious Colombian dark roast and hit Queen Vic Market for my Saturday AM happy place!
Freshly ground Colombian coffee beans, caviar dip, fresh farm eggs, fruit & veg. Check! North Melbourne brunch. Check! Speaking of check, next time you’re looking for somewhere new for Saturday AM breakfast/brunch, check out Di Bella Coffee Roasting Warehouse.
One of the most exciting parts about living in Melbourne CBD is the plethora of choices to eat, drink & be merry! Decided to explore North Melbourne this morning and the folks suggested Di Bella Coffee Roasting Warehouse. Amazing!
Probably the friendliest staff I’ve seen since my last trip to Johannesburg (South Africans nail customer service), great coffee and the most delectaballs () fruit platter with strawberries, melons, passionfruit, vanilla yoghurt, chia seed syrup & Vietnamese mint.
10/10 Di Bella!
